A project proposal, scope or agreement signed by you and Midwest Site Recon sets out what we will do, what we will deliver and the terms of that work. If anything on this website differs from a signed project document, the signed document controls.

Sending the project introduction form or booking a conversation does not create a contract and does not commit you or us to any work.

Utility detection limits

Locating methods have physical limits. Information on this website does not promise that every buried utility in an area will be found.

• Ground penetrating radar (GPR) needs contrast with the surrounding ground and can miss deep utilities.
• Electromagnetic (EM) locating needs a conductive utility or an accessible tracer and a usable signal.
• An undetected utility is not proof that none exists.

Private utility locating does not replace the notice to Indiana 811, or the one-call center in your state, that the law requires before excavation.
